Breakfast With the Easter Bunny

Good Friday was a busy day for us, and it began bright and early with a trip to our local Wyevale Garden Centre for breakfast with the Easter bunny.

We were greeted by the same member of staff who had served us during our breakfast with Father Christmas last year and she remembered us, which was really nice. Breakfast was brought out promptly and the children had a colouring sheet to amuse them prior to this. We were also offered squash and tea or coffee.

Breakfast itself was really tasty and well presented. The children’s consisted of scrambled egg, toast, sausage, hash brown and beans, which were in a separate pot meaning the fussy boy could actually eat his toast safe in the knowledge that it hadn’t touched bean juice! Miss J would have liked bacon in her breakfast and the boy would have preferred a continental option but these are minor issues and both children ate well.

I think these events are such great value and always look forward to them. For £9.99, each child receives their cooked breakfast, unlimited squash, a colouring sheet and crayons, a biscuit with icing and eggs to decorate and a cuddly toy from the Easter Bunny’s basket – great value.

The Easter Bunny, my seven year old announced, was definitely not real, though this was to be expected as the actual bunny would certainly be too busy to visit a garden centre on Good Friday!

Both children love the soft toys they chose (a chick and a bunny) and now take them to bed every night. We had a lovely morning at our local Wyevale and look forward to their next event.

We received complimentary  tickets to the Wyevale event for the purposes of this review; all opinions are our own.
