Snow White at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing

One of our favourite pre-Christmas family traditions is a trip to the local pantomime, which always promises to be a fun evening.  This year, we were treated to Snow White, featuring the one and only Chesney Hawkes, amongst others.

The show was full of laughs and japes with henchman Herman (Richard David-Caine) and Dame Dolly (Simon Howe) particular highlights. Niki Evans provided a touch of class as the Wicked Queen, and more laughter was provided by Jo Brand in the form of the magic mirror.

The children were transfixed and giggling throughout and didn’t tire at all, despite the show finishing a long way past their bedtime!  We were very fortunate to be invited to the press show where the children were given the opportunity to meet the cast at the after-show party, which Jas took full advantage of…

With something for all the family, we can thoroughly recommend Worthing Theatre’s excellent pantomime Snow White.  Running until the 1st January, there’s still plenty of time to catch it; tickets are available online and would even make a fantastic Christmas present.  We had a wonderful evening and look forward to whatever 2018’s panto has to throw at us…
